Nuevo Tema en la Web Oficial de Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen ha publicado en Bruce Springsteen Official Web un nuevo tema de estudio perteneciente a las Seeger Sessions. Se trata de Bring Them Home (If You Love Your Uncle Sam), un excelente tema que Pete Seeger escribió en 1965 en referencia a la guerra de vietnam y que fue todo un himno para los pacifistas norteamericanos.

La versión original de Seeger se publicó en 1971 en su disco "Young vs Old" de Columbia Records. En el 2003 Pete Seeger participó en la grabación de "Seeds: The Songs Of Pete Seeger vol 3" y grabó una nueva versión de "Bring Them Home con letras dirigidas a la invasión de Irak acompañado de Billy Bragg, Ani DiFranco y Steve Earle.

Esta emotiva versión de Springsteen fue grabada originalmente en las sessiones del mes de Enero y posteriormente en Oslo, durante la gira europea Bruce grabó las últimas estrofas añadiendo fragmentos de "When Johnny Comes Marching Home", otro himno pacifista compuesta en 1863 durante la guerra civil norteamericana.
